Ellis Web Foundry is a one-person business run by Ben Ellis in Oklahoma. This page explains, in plain words, what happens to the information you give through this website.

What the quote form collects

If you use the free quote form, I receive what you type into it: your name, business name, email address, and details about your project such as the type and size of site, extras you are interested in, budget range, timeline, and your description. You choose what to write. Please do not put passwords or payment details in the form.

How it is used

Who handles it

The form is sent through Formspree, a form service, which passes your message to my email inbox. Formspree and my email provider process it on my behalf. The website itself is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps ordinary technical logs, such as IP addresses, when pages are loaded.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not set cookies of its own and does not run analytics or advertising trackers. To display the page, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts and a 3D graphics library from public code delivery networks (cdnjs and jsDelivr). Those services can see your IP address and browser details when they send those files.

How long I keep it

I keep your messages for as long as I need them to answer you and keep a record of our conversation. You can ask me at any time to delete what you sent, and I will.

Your choices

You can email me to ask what I have from you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. If you would rather not use the form, you can email me directly instead.
